Operates either in a fixed position or on moving vehicles with the same reliable performance.
Detects shots fired under all environmental conditions (day/night/fog/rain/snow/sandstorm).
Boomerang is not triggered by false alarms commonly caused by non-ballistic events such as road bumps, door slams, wind noise, tactical radio transmission, and from other extraneous noise events such as vehicle traffic, firecrackers, and other urban activity.
The system will not report outgoing fire.
User Outputs: Auditory and Visual. Custom LED display of relative shooter azimuth, alphanumeric display, and integrated speaker.
Vehicle military 10-digit grid coordinate displayed in standby mode.
Boomerang provides real time, ASCII-data output for easy integration with other systems via ethernet or USB interface.
Simple to operate. Turn the system on and it is fully operational: no calibration required.
Remains operational in the presence of nearby RF sources(including IED jammers) and does not interfere with other devices.
